Embark on an adventure in Norway or Finland while pursuing your degree. As a University of New England student you have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or a year with UNE’s membership with the University of the Arctic. You can take classes at the University of Bergen in Bergen, Norway; the Arctic University of Norway in Tromso; or the University of Helsinki in Helsinki, Finland, for the same tuition as a traditional on-campus semester or year.

The deadline to apply for a North2North Program fall and/or spring semester abroad is February 1, 2025.
Cost
You will keep all UNE scholarships and financial aid and are billed the same tuition as for a traditional on-campus semester.
Scholarships
Students participating in a UNE semester abroad program will be automatically awarded an additional $500 Global Education Scholarship applied to that semester. Generous scholarships through the North2North grant program may be available at the University of Bergen in Bergen, Norway, the Arctic University of Norway in Tromso, Norway, and the University of Helsinki in Helsinki, Finland. North2North grant funds, when applicable, are distributed directly to you from the host university at the start of the semester according to the award decision at the time of applying.
